1. Who We Are

Fillr is operated by Vision Navtrade Ltd., a company incorporated in Canada ("we", "us", "our").

2. What Fillr Is and Is Not

Fillr is an ingredient translation and food label decoding tool. It helps everyday users understand what ingredients are, what they do, and whether they may conflict with a user's personal dietary profile.

Fillr is NOT:

A medical device
A medical diagnostic tool
A substitute for professional medical or nutritional advice
A guarantee of food safety
A certified allergy verification service

The information provided by Fillr is for general informational and educational purposes only. It is based on third-party food databases and AI-generated analysis, both of which may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated.

You must not rely on Fillr as your sole source of information when making decisions that could affect your health, especially if you have a serious food allergy, celiac disease, or any other medical condition. Always read the physical product label and consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical dietary advice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Fillr. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years old.

If you are between 13 and 18 years of age, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

4. Your Account

Account Creation

To use Fillr, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at info@usefillr.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

One Account Per Person

You may not create more than one account. You may not transfer your account to another person.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that is harmful to other users, to us, or to third parties.

5. Fillr Premium Subscription

Free Tier

Fillr offers a free tier that includes a limited number of scans. Free tier users have access to basic ingredient information.

Fillr Premium

Fillr Premium is a paid subscription that unlocks unlimited scans, full AI ingredient breakdowns, allergy alerts, and all premium features.

Pricing

Subscription pricing is displayed in the App and may vary by country. Prices are shown in the currency applicable to your App Store region.

Billing

Fillr Premium is billed through the Apple App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to Premium features until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods except where required by applicable law.

Refunds

All refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy. We do not process refunds directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will provide reasonable notice of any price changes before they take effect. Your continued use of Fillr Premium after a price change constitutes your acceptance of the new price.

Free Trials

If a free trial is offered, it will be clearly stated in the App. Unused portions of a free trial are forfeited upon purchase of a subscription.

6. Referral Program

Fillr offers a referral program where users can earn bonus scans by inviting friends to sign up.

Rules

Referral bonuses are granted when a new user signs up using your unique referral link and completes at least one scan.
Bonus scans are credited to your account and the new user's account as described in the App.
Maximum bonus scans earned through referrals are capped as stated in the App.
Referral bonuses have no cash value and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged.

Abuse

We reserve the right to revoke referral bonuses and terminate accounts if we detect abuse of the referral program, including but not limited to creating fake accounts, using automated signups, or any other fraudulent activity.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the referral program at any time without notice.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Fillr only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You agree NOT to:

Use the App in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its infrastructure
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the App by automated means
Use the App to transmit any harmful, offensive, or disruptive content
Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App
Create accounts by automated means or under false pretenses
Misuse the referral program as described above
Use the App for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent

8. Accuracy of Information

Fillr sources product and ingredient data from Open Food Facts and other third-party food databases. This data is provided by manufacturers, community contributors, and other third parties. We do not independently verify all product data.

Ingredient explanations and ratings are generated using AI (OpenAI) and a deterministic matching system developed by Fillr. While we work hard to ensure accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally be imprecise, incomplete, or incorrect.

We make no warranty that:

Product information in our database is current, complete, or accurate
Ingredient ratings reflect the most current scientific consensus
All allergens present in a product will be detected and flagged
The App will identify all ingredients that may affect your specific health condition

You acknowledge that food manufacturers may change product formulations without notice, and that database entries may not reflect the most recent version of a product.

ALWAYS READ THE PHYSICAL PRODUCT LABEL BEFORE CONSUMING ANY FOOD, ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE A SERIOUS ALLERGY OR MEDICAL CONDITION.

9. Intellectual Property

Fillr and all its content, features, and functionality — including but not limited to the App design, text, graphics, logos, icons, and software — are owned by Vision Navtrade Ltd. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms.

You may not:

Copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App
Use our trademarks, logos, or brand assets without our prior written consent
Create derivative works based on the App or its content

User-Generated Content

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or any other content to us, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, and incorporate that content into the App or our services without compensation to you.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FILLR IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
NON-INFRINGEMENT
ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF CONTENT
THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS
THAT THE APP WILL MEET YOUR SPECIFIC HEALTH OR DIETARY NEEDS

THIS DISCLAIMER APPLIES WITH PARTICULAR FORCE TO ANY HEALTH, ALLERGY, OR DIETARY INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE APP. FILLR IS NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE AND MAKES NO MEDICAL CLAIMS.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, VISION NAVTRADE LTD., ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

PERSONAL INJURY OR HEALTH CONSEQUENCES ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE APP
ALLERGIC REACTIONS OR ADVERSE HEALTH EVENTS RESULTING FROM USE OF THE APP
LOSS OF DATA OR SCAN HISTORY
LOSS OF REVENUE OR PROFITS
ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM INACCURATE PRODUCT OR INGREDIENT INFORMATION

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR FILLR PREMIUM IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100 CAD, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR LIABILITY. IN SUCH JURISDICTIONS, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Vision Navtrade Ltd. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

Your use of the App
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights
Any claim that content you submitted caused damage to a third party

13. Third-Party Services

Fillr integrates with third-party services including Open Food Facts, OpenAI, Supabase, RevenueCat, and Apple. Your use of the App is also subject to the terms and privacy policies of these third-party services where applicable.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party service.

14. Modifications to the App and Terms

We reserve the right to:

Modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time with or without notice
Update these Terms at any time

When we make material changes to these Terms, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date, sending an email to your registered address, or displaying a notice in the App.

Your continued use of the App after changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the App.

15. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without notice or liability, for any reason including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination:

Your right to use the App ceases immediately
Any data associated with your account may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy
Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including Sections 8, 10, 11, 12, and 16

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario, Canada.

If you are a consumer located in a jurisdiction that does not permit the above choice of law or jurisdiction, the mandatory consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction may apply.

17. Apple App Store Terms

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Vision Navtrade Ltd. only, and not with Apple Inc. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to provide any maintenance or support services for the App.

In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any) paid for the App. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App.

Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App, including product liability claims, consumer protection claims, intellectual property infringement claims, or any other claim.

Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

18. General

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Vision Navtrade Ltd. regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior agreements.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.

Language

These Terms are written in English. If translated into another language, the English version shall prevail in the event of any conflict.
